When sold as new, hybrid-related parts that need to be repaired to fix material or workmanship flaws are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of original use. The hybrid battery is transferable across ownership and is protected for 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.
